World Bank Pledged $1.8 billion to Fight Poverty in the Horn of Africa

The World Bank has pledged $1.8 billion to countries in the Horn Africa to invest in social safety net, infrastructure and other development priorities to boost economic growth and opportunity, reduce poverty and spur business activity. It was promised during the joint mission of Dr. Kim, World Bank, and Mr. Ban, United Nations, to Kenya, Ethiopia and Somalia this month.
