Southeast Asia Report 16: Stuck in the Vientiane Airport

“The worst Airline I’ve ever used”

Lao Airline was really not good. I waited for 3 hours in a queue at the airport. A white woman finally got angry when a receptionist was doing with our tickets and registrations as slowly as a caterpillar crawling on a leaf. “This airline is the worst I have ever used! I’ve been in Southeast Asia for 5 years. This ticket is not cheep”, she shouted. “Sorry, our system is very slow”, the receptionist answered to her. The woman claimed again, “Tell your boss! You can improve your service other than your computer system!” She was blaming them for their behaviours.

There were many staffs in the counter, but most of them did not work very well. Some of them knew a lot about that work, but the others did not know almost any thing at all. All they could do was just standing and chatting each other to earn money. Finally, I got absolutely exhausted. After all, I got my ticket fifteen minutes before the departure time.
